Cardiovascular (heart )side effects of levonogestrel include syncope (fainting), bradycardia (slowing of the heart) and hypertension (high blood-pressure) with the intra uterine levonogestrel.
Your doctor should be made aware of any heart issues before prescribing levonogestrel. He/she will need to weigh up risks and benefits.
