Is it law that if u do a urine test and they send it out to a lab, don't I have to sign it or watch?

I am on house arrest and they random test but I went in and she took the urine, did the test, it came back negative. When I left the urine was on her desk just sitting there. When I got home she called to ask me if I ever did cocaine, which was weird. But since the urine was left there can she send it to the lab without me knowing it Or watching it get sealed???

I thought with any specimen like that you have to watch them seal it. I know here it works that way with blood samples. When they draw blood you have to sit there and watch them label each tube and verify you are who the blood belongs too, I thought it would be the same for urine.
