My dr wants to put me on lantus am already on novalog sliding scale. I've read lantus has a cancer risk and right now i've been cancer free for about a year and a half. So I am worried about the risk since my chances may be higher. What do ya think?

I think it would be a really good idea to contact your oncologist and get his/her opinion on it. Hopefully he can give some recomendations to your regular Doc. I would also call your Doc and tell him the concerns you have. Hopefully between the 2 of them they can find the best treatment for you.
