I saw my Psych yesterday and she prescribed remeron for sleep. Reading through your material, I noticed it said if you have kidney disease that you should not take this drug. I had a kidney transplant 5 years ago and wonder if the kidney disease warning for remeron applies to me.

Hi bluesleep. Congrats on your 5 years with your new kidney! I have 3 years with my second transplant and I was on Remeron (mirtazapine) for over 5 years. So yes you can as long as your GFR is above 60 and you have a good creatinine level. Good luck with your new transplant!
