Ketoconazole - patient hepatitis c have problem with this medicament?

Ketoconazole is definitely contraindicated in Liver Disease. It can even cause liver toxicity in patients who don't have liver disease. So the risks verses benefits would really have to be weighed for ketoconazole to be used in a patient with Hep C.

one of the things that stands out is that there can be definite problems with the liver there are also many medications that need to be either watcher for or avoided while using this drug if you have any questions regarding any new medications prescribed while you are on this mention it to your doctor and or pharmacist
