Ruth, Pentobarbital Sodium is Pentothal which is an anesthetic induction agent. It is not used for prescriptive reasons for nightly sleep. Nembutal is prescribed for sleep although an older drug. They are both barbiturates. There are other agents that are used for sleep. Have u tried Ambien or one of the benzodiazepines?
Anyway... I hope u get some relief soon.
