Just found out my wife of 13 yrs.has had herpes I dont know what type yet. how scared should I be?

First I am sorry for your lost. Try not to worry about it until you get all the facts. You have been with her for 13 years and you don't have any signs or symptoms I gather. You might be a carrier now if there is not symptoms at all or maybe you will be fine too. I would go to your family doctor and get checked right away. Not much you can do right now until you know all the details of what herpes she had and your own health. I myself don't know much about herpes. But I had a friend that has it. She has to be very careful and take precautions if she has sex. Hope this helps you. Take care.
