Just added Prozac (4 weeks) to my list of meds. I have been on Xeloda for 2 years. Called dr. this?

After speaking to the doctor, I realized I had been taking Xeloda for 18 days instead of 14. I simply forgot to stop. He thinks that is the reason for weight gain, swelling, etc.
I hope so because I can't fit in my clothes. I am so uncomfortable. Has anyone ever taken more Xeloda than recommended?

Hi and thank you. Yes, I did speak to my doctor and it turns out that I forgot to stop taking Xeloda after 14 days and was on my 18th day. I totally forgot to stop and it was only when the doctor questioned me that I knew. He said that was responsible. I have taken Prozac in the past and never had this reaction.
I am still bloated, puffy in fingers, abdomen and just not feeling right. I am going to give him another call tomorrow. I am going on a cruise in less than 2 weekis. I packed everything only at this moment, I can't fit in any of those clothes... Just great - huh?
Hopefully things will even out now that you've stopped taking both meds together. Enjoy the cruise! I'm jealous : )
