I've been prescriped MedroxProgesterone for irregular menstrual periods due to meonpause? What is the time frame if known, before any side affects take place. In other words, can a person be on this med for up to six months and not experince any extreme side affects or long term side affects such as heart disease, blood clots or breast cancer?
