The itching outbreaks seem to correspond with a new batch of thyroid. I'm fine on some, and itch on other refills. Been to Dr., and they don't know what it is except an itchy rash and recommend cortizone cream. Doesn't work. Nothing does, but do not want to go to synthetic thyroid as it caused major side effect similar to fibromialgia and high blood pressure. Can't stop Armour. Should I get another supply and see if it is better?
Yes I think that is a good idea. If the rash resolves with a new batch then you are probably correct in your thinking. Good luck.
I have been reading and it says that is an allergic reaction. I just started taking Armour, have been on synthroid for years with NO help. Love this Armour, but don't know how to take it with this rash and itching I have. Any advice?
