Is tramadol a morphine based drug?

i have been on tramadol 150mg for approx 6 weeks and had severe side affects the doctor has now put me on oxycontin which is oxycodone hydrochloride that someone has told me is a form of heroine is this true and will i get the same side affectes thankyou

oxycodone is far from heroin and is not a form of it... Dave
