Is clobetasol prescribed for cancer patients to regrow hair?

No, not normally. Hair loss from chemotherapy is usually temporary. Regrowth is usually seen between 3 to 10 months after treatment.

Hi, as suzanne wrote, it isn't commonly used for hair regrowth in cancer patients. It is used primarily for skin conditions such as psoriasis. Clobetasol, although a topical treatment, should not be used if you are taking oral steroids (such as prednisolone), which is a common medication used with cancer patients.
