also just to clarify the reason i am asking is because i have freinds and even family members that are on anxiety medications and a few of my freinds are on xanax and my sister takes klonopin and sometimes i see my friends and sister kinda messed up like they probably are taking a few more mg than they should so im wondering abotu this drug my doctor wants to put me on, is it going to do the same think like get me high just like xanax and klonopin does to some people because if this is the case im not sure i want to take it because ive seen my friends get pretty sloppy when we hang out and sometimes they dont even remember the night before.
Well to the best of my lknowledge the medication is an anti-depressant. From a first impression without knowing how old you are or why you are prescribed this medication I have to say that you seem to be a trustworthy reliable and very aware that misusing medication does not really make you look cool. I think you see that all it does is make you look stupid. Your fear of of the medication making you act that way shou;d not be a concern IF you take it as prescribed and if you feel like you are not acting right. Everyone responds differently to medication so it is hard to say what side effects you will have if any.

My gut tells me that if you are the responsible person that asked this question you will be responsible enough to talk with your doctor if you feel like the medication is not working for you or giving you symptoms that just do no feel right. Also I would bet you would never misuse it.Good Luck with this I hope I helped a little. Just remember if you ever think about misusing medication it will put you in a situation you never want to be because it is so hard to get back to where you started from Take Care and od Bless
thank you for your insight it helped. just so you kno i am 25 and in the military so i totally understand about if i ever misuse any med then it will put me in a spot i do not want to be in not only for health reason but also land me in a spot that my career would be ruined. but anywyas thanks alot for you answer.

i appreciate it thank you. and you know what? i just got into a motorcycle accident on tuesday which i already had anxiety flying through the roof about driving period cause of my car accident 2 months ago. and the surgery i had from and assault back in september which now i have 3 metal plates in my face so now im on so many pain meds from my accident on tuesday i am just not having a good year :( i dont know what to do i feel like im just falling and falling you know? like i just cant seem to catch a break it seems like. so now me and my wife dont have a car cause of the accident and we had my motorcycle which now that is gone and now we have no transportation and just seems like life is giving me the big F U. at least im alive well thank you for everything happy holidays
OMG I am so sorry to hear about your accident. I agree how much BS must one person go through. I could say that at least you are alive to tell the tale but I know you already know that. I wish there was something I can do to help. I can keep praying for you but that goes unsaid. I hope things start getting better. I can only imagine the pain you are in I had a plate in my wrist and it was a bi..ch.
