I am not sure it would help, but the only person I would trust with this answer is to give the doctor a call in the morning. I am sure if he thought that would help, he would have told you to do it along with the albuterol. How long has he been doing the treatments? If it's been a few days & no improvement I would even call him tonight. He may want to change the medication around to something else. Hope this helps & your little one is feeling better real soon.
