Is there something else less expensive than Norpace CR that will work just as well?

Details:

This was a GENERIC until just a few months ago and now it seems we are being gouged to death with the price. Especially since my insurance company won't touch it .

Yes, there are generics available for disopyramide phosphate (by Teva Pharmaceuticals, Watson Laboratories, KV Pharmaceutical, etc.).

Only KV Pharmaceuticals makes an extended release 150mg capsule.
