At the above site (the medication's main site), if you scroll all the way to the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER, there is a box that says "Boehringer Ingelheim Cares". It is a resource for people like yourself that need help paying for the medication. Also, try PPARX.org (prescription partnership of america) for additional financial resources based on income and need, including that site itself and others. You can read about your new med on the official site or from drugs.com. Good luck and hope this helps!

To Merikay and Jose - The advice given above is correct, you just have to do all of the paperwork yourself. However, if you were prescribed this medication in a hospital setting or a hospital out-clinic, you should go to the hospital's social worker and they will help you fill out the paperwork. You will need to provide a copy of your IRS 1040 as part of the application. You may also have your doctor contact their rep and that person maybe able to help you with the paperwork as well.
