I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I am currently taking Enbrel (Etanercept), and I plan on going to Quito, Ecuador to build houses with a group from school. Being immunocompromised, I am advised not to take the Typhoid vaccine. Is there an alternative vaccine I can take?

Yes, you maybe able to use the inactivated typhoid vaccine which is given as an injection. However the Enbrel may reduce its effectiveness. Talk with your doctor.
