I know when taking coumadin blood levels are tested weekly. My doctor did not mention any testing when he prescibed aggrevox.

I have been on Aggrenox for almost 2 years. While I have had my blood tested several times during that time, I have never been told that I should have it tested weekly. (Thank God. I have a real fear of needles.) I dont know what dosage you are on or any of the other particulars, but ask your doctor if he/she can explain to you the reasons for so much testing. If you are not satisfied with that answer, you are always entitled to seek a second opinion.
