I have found much, less pain while using the Ryzolt 24 hr.. brand name, pain relieiver., and am so happy to have finally found some help , against these spasms, but there is a generic called Tramadol, that is much cheaper. So I wondered is there something else in the Ryzolt, beside the 24hr. factor?

Really! I did not understand that. Do you know what kind of anti depressant? The doctor said it was for the pain. But It does make a lot of sense to me. Because I finally feel so normal, at least emotionally. I have been having these spasms from my vocal cords all the way down to my esophagus , for 7 years, now.and been very depressed about it, How can one not be depressed when one is sick every day and even in the night. The experts, have done test & have given me several kinds of those pills and this is the only one that has ever stopped the pain, even while I still feel the pressure of the spasms. Thanks so very much for the information. I will see another " specialest" soon and find out what my G.P. has given me. That none of the other" experts" had figured out! It's a miracle for me. And it took a regular old family doctor! Wow this forum is such invaluable. Thanks.
i believe it has SSri qualities like zoloft i believe and does help alot of people with depression but i dont think docs prescribe them for that
