was prescribed Nystatin powder for mouth..bottle says external use only..

Hello,
Topical means you only apply it on your skin (epidermis) and oral is when you swallow a tablet or capsule for example.-
If the bottle says external use only you can not apply it in your mouth , eyes or inner ears and inside your nose.-Only on your epidermis... skin.-
