Is there a benefit to continuing Prosed DS after pain from UTI has quit?

Hi jim2010, There is a benefit if you are one of those people who get UTI's often. Prosed-DS is a urinary antiseptic, urinary acidifier, analgesic and anticholinergic combo. It works by killing bacteria in the urine, decreases pain and inflammation and reduces muscle spasms in the urinary tract. Talk with your doctor the next time you see him, in the mean time, if I were you, I would continue taking it until it's gone or until I saw my doctor again, whichever comes first.
