There are 4 strengths of inhalation solution available ... 0.021%, 0.042%, 0.0103% and 0.25%.
And the inhaler is 0.045mg.
In terms of effectiveness, all inhalation solutions used via a nebulizer give better delivery of the medicine to the lungs. It's just the way it is designed. However, if the inhaler is used properly it is also very effective.

I use both - I have learned for small, incidental problems the inhaler is all I need and it works great. But when the asthma goes full force and I end up on steroids, I usually end up using the Xopenex Solution for the nebulizer - I get a significant increase in relief in this situation.
