... wants $262. The cheapest I have found Renova is at the Costco Pharmacy for $175.
I know as far as precription meds go, sometimes the generic is just as good and sometimes it is a far cry from the brand name... Thanks!
Is the generic (tretinoin) as effective as the name brand of Renova? Man, Renova is expensive. CVS?

Hello Jobeth Hulagirl. Its been awhile since you asked your question. I really don't have an answer, only that as you yourself said, sometimes the generic works well and sometimes it doesn't. I'm curious, if you tried the tretinoin and if you found it to be working just as well as the renova did for you. I'm guessing that by now you might have tried the tretinoin. Best of wishes,pledge

I wound up asking my dermatologist the next time I saw her and she said that the generic does not work as good as the Renova brand name.
The upside is that this stuff lasts a really long time since you are only supposed to put a "thin veil"of it on your face. I am only about a quarter of the way through the tube since I posted that message! (I use it 3 times a week. The other days I use DCL High Potency C Scape serum. That stuff is great and lasts a long time too. About $45)
Renova works great and I love it!!!
