The Evamist spray does not seem to be working for me even though I've been using the highest recommended dose for about 2 months now. I primarily suffer from night sweats which interupt my sleep. I used the Climara patch (samples supplied by my doctor) in the past and it worked fine, but I was forced to eventually use the generic version (because of insurance coverage) which highly irritated my skin. Since my surgical menopause about 5 years ago, I have become more educated about ERT in general and I would like to use a plant-based estrogen if possible. Info in the prescribing leaflet for Climara does not state from where Climara's estrogen is derived and I found that their website does not provide a definitive statement about this topic either. I don't know where else to go to ask, so thank you, if anyone can answer my question.
