Is serax stonger then zanax?

Hey Benjamin,

Serax and Xanax are both benzodiazepines and used for treating anxiety and alcohol withdrawl symptoms. The major difference is the Xanax acts quicker than the Serax. The equavilent dosage is .5 mg Xanax to 15 mg Serax.

Hello benjamin4609. Just to add to what Laurie already said and its almost a year later but did want to stress that Xanax is used as a fast fix to an anxious moments. Usually you'll feel the relief within 10 minutes or so after taking your dose. It will leave your body within 5 to 6 hours, it has a short halflife. The Serax, is used for general anxiety, so it works, long term. It will after you take a dose remain in your body for a close to between 20 to 24 hours, and will give you long term relief.
