My son has been on clozaril for years but still has delusional thinking and paranoia and a lot of talking to himself. His doctor wants to try him on saphris but my son is resisting it and I have read some unfavorable reviews, as well as some very encouraging reviews from people who are taking it. Anyone who has had this situation? Would love to hear about your experience if you switched from clozaril to saphris.
Is saphris more effective in treating schizophrenia than clozaril?

There should be a schizophrenia group here on drugs.com, join that group and look thru old posts. I fear many have gone away for the Holiday weekend and haven't seen your post yet. Many questions have already been answered in certain groups, you can click on the old posts and read thru them in that group to see how this may have been answered before.
