Reglan is a dopamine antagonist. It is used as an antiemetic to help nausea and vomiting, also for delayed gastric emptying as well as for GERD. It stimulates motility of the upper GI tract so it helps your digestive tract to move contents trough faster and better. It keeps acid from sitting in the stomach rather than neutralizing it.
