i am 53yrs old. i been diagnosed with androgenitic alopecia. my dermotoligist perscribed 1mc of propeica dailey. will i have to take it the rest of my life?

My dermatologist gave me a can of Rogaine. I couldn't stand the feeling of it on my head--- like bugs crawling or something. From what I know, once you start you have to keep using it or else any positive results will disappear.

It sucks, I know.
