Is phenazopyridine a norcotic drug that I have to worry about?

No, it is not an opioid or narcotic drug. It is just a bladder anesthetic. It works on the bladder only. It will make your urine a very bright orange and the urine will STAIN anything so be sure to wear old underwear or a pad to protect. If you get urine splashed on the toilet seat or anything else be sure to wipe it off or rinse it right away because it will stain permanently if you are not careful.
