I know that percocets come in 5, 7.5 and 10 mg pills and anything over that (i.e., 15 mg, 20mg and 30mg) are not considered percocets. So what is given to people who need more than 10mg percocet? Oxycontin? Either in brand or generic form.

no,oxy codone is the generic or chemical name.oxy contin the same drug except contin stands for continues release.meaning you don't get the whole effect of pill at once.that's why people crush them up and either snort ,shoot smoke, or eat so they feel the pill all at once. rocycodone come in 15mg-30mg. its all the same.but very dangerous and that's why people die from them. Cant people just take there medicine the way its prescribed.
