Both Nexium (Esomeprazole) and Zantac (Ranitiidine) have been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA.
Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm.
Nexium and Zantac should only be used during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks.
There is no clear advantage of either drug.

i am pregnant, 33 weeks, and using zantad 150 as doctor's prescription. will zantac 150 have side effects regarding that?

date June 2003. Perhaps one pill not as effective as new ones but can taking Zantac 75 pills 10 years old harm you? Perhaps 2-3 would do same as new ...
