Positive... she picked it up today... she does have a problem with chronic sinus infections, so maybe that has something to do with it... but the medication is ordered to be put on her jaw line???
That is rather strange. I'm not seeing how they think this will work. I know there is a nasal spray mupirocin that is used for MRSA infections in the nares but rubbing antibiotic ointment on the jaw to cure TMJ sounds a little far fetched to me!! TMJ is not an infection, it is a misalignment of the tempromandibular joint. Did they explain their reasoning for this line of thought?
My daughter called the doctor and found out that she wants her to put a scant amount in her sinus wash... sounds logical so she'll go with it to see if it works...
