I have been in Methadone treatment for a year and have been clean for a year. I am taking a DOT Drug Test in the near future for a high ranking position in a Natural Gas Company and I need to know if Methadone is tested for in this DOT Drug Test?

Dave, from what I read, methodone falls under the category of a narcotic pain reliever similar to morphine. Wouldn't it "break down" (forgot the term) in the system as morphine like other opiates? It doesn't block other opiates like suboxone does, so I'm confused myself. I have a (useless) CDL and had several DOT tests. Some screenings are more thorough depending on the safety sensitive positions of a job. If they DID do a more thorough screening, you don't think it would show a positive for morphine? You're great at explaining things, what am I missing here?
