I was taking Lansoprazole and the pharmacy gave me metformin instead... does it work the same?
Is metformin 850mg for indigestion?

Hello P.D. Reading up on the two drugs, I believe that they both work much the same. You might phone your pharmicist to confirm or ask her/his opinion. When you were given the Metformin, did they offer you a reason and explanation why they did that? The substitution? Best to you,
