Is latanoprost as good as xalatan?

Latanoprost is the generic name for Xalatan. (Latanoprost is the active ingredient)
All generic versions of Xalatan have been assigned an "AT" rating by the FDA.
This means that any generic version is therapeutically equivalant (as good as) the brand Xalatan.
So in answer to your question, yes, Latanoprost is as good as Xalatan.
