Is it safe to take welchol if the patient has stage 4 liver disease?

WelChol is part of a class of drugs known as bile acid sequestrants and is used to lower cholesterol levels in the body. Welchol is safe to take in patients who present with liver disease.

Welchol - My 2 hour after meal blood sugar level was elevated by 20-30 points. Is this normal?

Before Welchol my 2 hour after meal blood sugar would register between 115 and 124. Now it is between 144 - 163 after eating the same type of meals.
