Dear luv... both of these drugs are stimulants used as appetite suppressants. They are classified as sympathomimetic amines so they are not amphetamines. They mimic the actions of the sympathetic nervous system... the fight or flight nervous system. They raise the heart rate and the blood pressure. I would recommend using one or the other but not both together. Phentermine is the stronger of the two. If you have any blood pressure problems or heart arrythmias or glaucoma you should use these drugs with caution or not at all. They can also build up a tolerance if used continuously over time. All this being said they are effective in suppressing the appetite and are relatively safe if you are a healthy person.
