Which pain medication is best for kidney pain in an hiv+ paient on norvir, prezista and truvada?
Is it safe to take meloxicam with hiv meds;norvir,prezista and truvada occasionally for kidney pain?

If you have any renal impairment taking a nonsteroidal anti inflammatory such as meloxicam is not recommended.
I checked your medications with the pain killer oxycodone without acetominophen and it would be ok to take. I do not recommend hydrocodone with acetominophen such as Lortab or Norco as it could interact with the norvir.
Best to discuss this further with the doctor and your pharmacist.
