What was meant was 1000 mcg. daily for 6 days to build up a B-12 deficiency. Is this too much?
Is it safe to take cyanocobalamin 1,000 daily for 6 days than 0nce a week than once a month?

No overdosage has been reported with cyanocobalamin.
The recommended dose is 1mg (1000 mcg) by IM injection repeated 10 times at intervals 2 to 3 days, then maintenance of 1mg every month.
However its use is being replaced by hydroxycobalamin as it is retained by the body for longer.
