softharthave been on the sotalol for several years now doctor wants to add the cardizem..I am always fearful of meds that affect the heart

You should report to your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: fatigue, headache, fainting, swelling of the extremities, weight gain, shortness of breath, chest pain, increased or decreased heartbeat, or irregular heartbeat.
