AJ011872I'm wondering if it is ok to drink on a Saturday or Sunday since I take the meds on Mon, Wed, Fri only. I have Mycobacteria Avium Complex (MAC).
Is it safe to drink alcohol while on a M-W-F regimen of Rifampin, Ethambutol and Azithromycin?

Hello AJ011872. I answered you in a previous question and I suggested no, and to check with your doctor or pharmacists. antibiotics and alcohol are as a rule not mixed, in as much as the potency of the antibiotic will lessen, diminsh, and that will be self defeating the purpose of the antibiotic.
