Is it safe for1 year old and 4 months infants to take a 7.5ml of chlorampenicol every 6 hours?

Chloramphenicol is a potent antibiotic but has serious side-effects so should be reserved for life-threatening infections such as typhoid or infections caused by haemophilus influenzae.

Only use on the recommendation of a doctor.
