Is it ok to go out in the sun when taking Estradiol? (1mg tab)?

Details:

I am going to FL in a couple of months and the warning label stated to avoid the sun. Is this really a problem? I usually wear some #6 UVP sunscreen anyway. PAG

Estradiol may cause dark skin patches on your face (melasma) and exposure to the sun may make these patches darker.
As long as you use a good sunscreen and apply it regularly or cover up when outside you will be fine.
