Fradicin an antibiotic obtained from an actinomycete and used (as a sulphate; trade name Neobiotic) as an intestinal antiseptic in surgery
Synonyms: neomycin, Neobiotic.
Its an antibiotic, however check with the pharmacist/doc., hope this helps?

Thanks!
But From my search I understood that fradicin is a polyene antibiotic while neomycin s an aminoglycoside... both are produced from S. fradie ..but usually they are mentioned as if they are the same compound... I wish to know if they really have the same separation and purification methods.
