I take Elmiron for Interstitial Cystitis and Lexapro for depression. The Elmiron is $230 for a 90-day supply and that's only 2 a day. I did better on 4 a day, but can't afford it. If Elavil helps both conditions, that would be super helpful to me, especially if it's cheaper. If anyone else is with Humana and getting Elavil, I would appreciate your sharing with me the cost. Thanks!

Thanks for your answer. I was reading comments about Elavil and ran across one that mentioned IC and how she was so glad she discovered Elavil helps with the pain, but of course, I can't find that site now.
I'm in the process of changing doctors and will ask the new one what he thinks about Elavil.

ive had ic for 7yrs and yes elavil is used for this also,my specialist said if i hadnt of already been on this medication i would have been in alot more pain than i was..you can get it for $4 at walmart for a 30 day supply.it is good for the prevention of migraines to because migraines is one of the symptoms of ic.
