Dramamine is an over-the-counter medication that is traditionally used to treat the various symptoms that are associated with motion sickness eg. dizziness, nausea and vomiting. However, dramamine can also be used to curb mild nausea associated with other illnesses like flu or food poisoning.
It can be used daily, for prevention, or on a "as needed" basis for treatment of nausea symptoms.
The adult dose is usually 50mg to 100mg every 4 to 6 hours. See your pharmacist for more advice.
You should see your doctor if your symptoms are not going away.
