Is Desitin ok to use on a newborn when you are breastfeeding?

I am using it right now on my brand new grandchildren both are being breast fed and it is the best out there you can pay alot for triple paste butt cream Dr Smith's etc. Hope this helps I have used it with 2 other grandchildren both withe really sore hinies.
