I've read that this drug can be used against acne conglobata and fulminans. is it safer than accutane but just as effective?
Is Dapsone also effective for Acne?

Hi..
Topical dapsone does not appear to cause the same systemic side effects(hematologic toxicity) as does the oral form..5% dapsone gel demonstrated it to be safe and somewhat effective against acne vulgaris..
Retinoids(accutane )are a critical component of any treatment regimen for acne vulgaris.
Topical and oral antibiotics have a faster onset of action than do retinoids.
but accutan has more efficacy than dapson.
