My MD is considering switching me from a different Beta Blocker to Coreg, but am concerned about the price.

Yes. Carvedilol is generic Coreg and alot cheaper than the brand name. My pharmacy (Target) has Carvedilol as one of their $4 for 30 day or $10 for 90 day supply of this medication. Check around with your local pharmacies and ask for their price on Carvedilol.
