Coloxyl with Senna should be used with caution in inflammatory bowel disease eg diverticulitits.
A better option would be to try a natural fibre laxative eg. Psyllium. A high-fibre diet may prevent development of diverticulosis. If you took Psyllium you gain benefits of adding fibre to your diet and relieve constipation.
Speak to your pharmacist or doctor about Psyllium or other natural fibre laxatives that are safer to use in diverticulitis.
